A website is a business tool
Looking professional is the baseline. A website earns its place when it brings in calls, bookings, and customers.
About Gray Haus Tech
Gray Haus Tech started while we were building the websites and technology our own home service business needed to run. We still operate that business today, and we build for other small businesses the same way we build for our own.
We set out to run a home service company, not a development studio. But every part of that company needed technology: the website, scheduling, customer communication, payments, routing, and a clear view of what was happening each day.
The tools we tried kept falling short, so we started building our own. A website that actually brought in work. Dashboards that showed the day at a glance. Automations that handled the follow-ups nobody had time for. Each build solved a real problem inside a business we were running every day.
Those systems made our company easier to operate. They also showed us how many other owners were stuck piecing together the same puzzle.
Every one of these lessons came from operating a real company, not from a design trend.
Looking professional is the baseline. A website earns its place when it brings in calls, bookings, and customers.
If a tool adds steps, the crew stops using it. The right build takes work off the schedule instead of adding to it.
Clear scope, direct communication, and a lean process make quality work possible at a price a small business can plan around.
The software should follow the workflow, the schedule, and the customer. The business should not bend around the software.
Gray Haus Tech gives small business owners professional websites, custom tools, automations, and dashboards without the cost and complexity that usually surround custom work.
We approach every project as fellow operators. Technology earns its place by saving time, solving a problem, improving the customer experience, or helping the company grow. That standard shapes what we recommend, what we build, and what we leave out.
We are not looking at small business from the outside. We manage schedules, customers, employees, and budgets ourselves, and that experience shapes every build.
We run a home service business today. Limited time, tight budgets, employees, and full schedules are our daily reality too.
Clear proposals, plain language, and direct access to the people planning and building the work.
Every project starts with how your business operates, not with a template's assumptions.
No inflated scope and no features added to justify a bigger invoice. Every piece of the build has a job.
We build systems we would be comfortable running ourselves, because we maintain our own every day.
